I have been receiving my SS check on the second Wednesday of the month since it began. Today, Nov.10th is a Tuesday and I see my SS has been already deposited to my bank account. Any reason for the day early rather then my usual Wednesday? My birthday is November 7th. Thanks for answering this question. Doris

I am wondering why my husband & I got our Social Security payments direct deposited on Oct. 13th (the 2nd Tuesday of the month) but we normally receive payments the 3rd Wednesday of each month.

FYI in case it matters: We just started receiving Social Security this year. Hubby is claimed based on my record at present, will switch to his record when he reaches age 70. I do have a seasonal part-time job but will make probably $9500 or less by year's end.

Hello Larry, My Bill's come monthly but I get Socal Security on the 2nd Wednesday of the month which means that 4 out of 12 months I receive my payment at 5 week intervals. This causes me a hardship is there and recourse for this,getting paid every 5 weeks is tuff.

I always got my SSDI check on the 3rd of every month My first check under my reg SS started on Aug 1 and I got paid on the 1st will this be my date for checks from now on? My friend had the same situation but they didn't change the date of his pay why?

Hello Larry, I thought I might run this by you. My (disability check) arrives on the fourth Wednesday of every month. This is a concern, my bills are due the first week of the month. I am going through a divorce and will be my sole provider. Asking for your assistance.

Hello: Info: I am 65 years old, born June 15, 1954. I applied for ss retirement benefits on March 25, 2020.
I asked during the app for a first benefit period of March 2020. I saw an approval letter dated today, April 2, 2020.

When do you think I can expect my first deposit.?

My husband and I, both 66, applied for social security benefits the end of November 2019. My husband applied for full social security benefits and I applied for spousal benefits. We both were born in 1953 so took advantage of the restricted application. My husband's benefits will begin next month in February but my spousal application is still pending. Will I receive my spousal benefits a month or two after my husband starts receiving his benefits? I thought they'd begin at the same time. Your software program was very helpful. Thank you.

I have historically received my SS deposit on the 4th Wednesday of each month. Beginning in December 2019 my SS deposit was made on the 3rd Friday. Again now in January 2020 my SS deposit was made on the 3rd Friday. I cant seem to find a reason for the change in date nor do I know if this is just a fluke or if the 3rd Friday is now my new deposit date. If you have any information that would explain why the change I would appreciate hearing from you - THANKS!

When I filed and suspended my benefits prior to April 30 2016, I was told that benefits will start automatically at age 70. Will my benefits get paid the month I’ll reach age 70 or the following month?
