How Much Would My Children's Auxiliary Benefits Be?

I have three children. My benefit amount is $1886. What would their auxiliary payments be for? Two of them receive SSI and one receives a Title Iv D adoption assistance payment of 795 for when I adopted him. My mother has custody and is retired and draws her retirement. She also is a 1099 contractor and has a job. Will this affect what they can earn? My step dad also works. I tried to calculate it myself but this is so confusing. Also my eligible onset date is August 2019.

Will My Son's Benefit Rate Increase When His Half Brother Gets Too Old To Collect Benefits?

My son's mother passed away in 2012. She was unmarried at the time of her death. My son and his half brother both both receive survivor benefits in the amount of $726.00. My son's half brother will turn 18 and graduate from high school shortly after his birthday in early 2022. Will my son's benefit amount increase at that time? Her survivor benefits are not going to any other spouse or child, just split between my son and his half brother. Thanks in advance.

Do We Have To Adopt Our Grandchildren For Them To Be Eligible To Receive Benefits On My Record?

I'm on disability insurance at age 55yrs old. I have been on it for past 4yrs now. My conditions will not improve. My wife is 57 and is a stay at home wife. We have permanent custody of our 2 grandsons ages 6 and 8. Do we have to adopt the boys for them to be eligible to recieve benefits on my record? Also wouldn't my wife be entitled as well since she is caring for them ? I can't seem to get any answers through soc sec. They just tell me it dosent work that way, but it says it does in the pamphlet. However it is vague thanks for any help

Is There A Chance That My Children Could Draw Social Security Even Though They're Illegitimate Children?

My children’s father passed away last month. He was a veteran. He died in the US. We are currently residing in the Philippines now. A VA representative told me that my children might be eligible for Social security benefits if they are under their father’s dependent. but their father has multiple minor children. My children are both minors by the way. Is there a chance that they could draw social security benefits regardless if they are illegitimate children? Thank you

If The Oldest Of 3 Children Stop Getting Benefits, Should Their Benefit Be Split Between The Other 2 Children?

If 3 children receive same amount of survivors benefits, when oldest graduated from high school, should their $ be given to remaining 2 children or dropped? I was told when applying the total could be split by the 3 or given all to one so expected when child graduated to still have that amount for other 2 but it was dropped
