Can I Calculate My Age 70 Benefit Rate Online?

When I reached FRA I filed a restricted application to receive spousal benefits so my own benefit could grow until I reach age 70. Now, as I look at my account on the Social Security web site, it looks like I can no longer generate a statement or do an application. I have found a prior answer that tells me I must go to an office or call to switch to my own benefit. But what I don't know is how to find out what my age 70 benefit would be. Is it possible to do this online? Thanks very much.

Will The Government Shutdown Affect The Processing Of My Claim?

I have been receiving a survivor's Social Security benefit, am almost 70 years old, and applied in late November to switch to my own work record effective January (first payment in February). I received a copy of my application in the mail, but have not received an award letter. The Social Security website says that my application is still being processed. Do you have any idea how the shutdown affects the application-processing part of the Social Security Administration?

If Two People Are Expecting a Child Can Social Security Take Away Their Checks?

If two people are together and just found out they were expecting can social security take their checks

Hi,

Having a baby would not cause Social Security to stop paying checks to a person, nor would it prevent Social Security from stopping a person's payments for other reasons (e.g. recovery of an overpayment, excess earnings, etc.)

Why Would I Have Received Unexpected Payments From Social Security?

I received 2 small unexpected SSA deposits on December 3rd, 2018, and my SSDI check is supposed to arrive Wednesday, December 12th. This has never happened before. I turned 59 on the 4th of December so I am very worried. Also, my husband transfers money into my account constantly, to pay bills thru me - does this look like income? I cannot work at all.
