Will I Get A Stimulus Check If My Disability Claim Is Pending?

I applied for disability in December and my case is still pending. Will i be eligible for the stimulus check

Hi,

Sorry, but my expertise is limited to Social Security benefits, so I'm unable to answer questions about stimulus payments.

The IRS website has posted the following information about stimulus payments: https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/economic-impact-payments-what-you-need-to-know.

Can You Collect Unemployment If You Receive SS Benefits And A Pension?

Hi, Did not know you were able to collect SS and unemployment. My question is, can you collect unemployment if you receive SS and a pension. Thank you.

Hi,

My expertise is limited to Social Security benefits, so all that I can tell you is that you can be paid Social Security benefits regardless of whether or not you're drawing unemployment. Unemployment benefits do not count toward the Social Security earnings test limits (https://www.ssa.gov/planners/retire/whileworking.html).

Can You Tell Me What I Need To Do To Receive A Stimulus Check?

I receive SSI, low income. could you tell me about the stimulus checks. I have heard so many different stories about this. Is there something I need to do such as file something, or fill out forms. I would appreciate any info you could provide on this subject.
Sincerely,
Kris

Hi Kris,

I'm sorry, but no I can't give you any information about stimulus checks. My expertise is limited to Social Security benefits, and the stimulus payments have nothing to do with Social Security regulations.

Will Our Coronavirus Check Be Deposited In The Account That Our SS Goes To?

If I already get Social Security and so does my husband and got a tax refund in mail last year. Will they send our Coronavirus check directly to our bank accounts that our SS goes to or through the mail? Thank you in advance if you know.

Hi,

I'm sorry, but my expertise is limited to Social Security benefits. I'm unable to answer questions regarding stimulus payments because they are not a Social Security benefit, nor will they be paid by the Social Security Administration.

How Can I Determine The Amount Of My Future Benefit?

Hi! I filed for a spousal benefit only two years ago, and am currently receiving it. My plan is to file for my own social security benefit when I turn 70, in two years. How/where can I now determine the amount of my benefit when I file for my own benefit? The social security website doesn't offer that information online. This information would help us for future planning purposes.
Thanks!

Can I Call The US Treasury About My Husband's Last Payment?

my x husband died March 4, 2020. His social security check for Feb,2020 was deposited in our bank account on March 11, 2020 for $1725.oo. On March 24 the bank put a hold on that amount. I sent the death certificate to social security and got it back stamped WORKTRACK APRIL 3, 2920. The bank said I need to call social security for a hold release from the us treasury. Unfortunately it is almost impossible to get to talk to anyone at social security. Is there a way I can call the US treasury about this. ? Can you help with this?
