She receives both SSI and Social Security, and both payments are received and managed by a representative payee in the home where she lives. I don't know if her checks are automatically deposited in an account or sent as a check. Will she be entitled to the $1200 COVID 19 stimulus check? If yes, what will be the responsibility of the representative payee to make sure she gets the stimulus funds?

I've been on SSDI for over 25 years for a mental condition. I receive 2 checks, 1 Disability check and 1 Survivors check. I lived with my Mother for all this time in her house. She died in March. Do I have to report her death to social security? I have to move soon. Do I need to report to social security when I move? Will the amounts of the checks I receive be the same or less when I move? I applied for my spousal benefits with the intention of filing for my own benefits at age 70. Note that I was born in 1951 so it was my understanding that I would be able to apply for spousal benefits first and wait till 70 to maximize my benefits. I don't know what to tell you, except that it takes time to process changes to a person's address and/or direct deposit account. Social Security cautions people not to close the bank accounts where their payments are being deposited until after their payments have started going to their new account.
