Is There Some Way To Find Out Who Used My SSN?

Just trying to find out about who's using my social security number ? I don't make enough to file taxes , I live with my son and he has been able to use me on his taxes, this year he tried to and was declined saying someo one else used me, there is no one that could , so is there some way to find out whom did ? I'm not sure but isn't that fraud. That's money my son could use.
Thank You Rita

Can I Collect Full Benefits At Age 62 Instead Of 67 If My Disabled Child Lives With Me?

I have a disabled adult child. Am I able to collect full benefits at 62 instead of 67 because my disabled child lives with me and is my dependent.

Hi,

You can potentially qualify for unreduced child in care spousal or survivor benefits at any age if you have a child in your care who is under age 16 or disabled, although benefits are sometimes reduced due to the family maximum benefit.

Do I Need To Do Something Before My 66th Birthday?

URGENT ATTN REQUESTED.Today is July 30,2020. I am 65 and my birthday is Aug 2. Are there things that I need to do concerning benefits and financial deadlines, prior to my 66 birthday?

Hi,

I don't know enough about your circumstances to give you an answer. You wouldn't necessarily have to do anything with regard to Social Security benefits simply because you're turning age 66, but there may be filing strategies that you should consider if you haven't yet filed. You may want to consider using our software to analyze your options.

Best, Jerry
