How Often Do I Need To Report My Earnings?

Hi Larry, could you please inform me as to whether I need to report my earnings every payday or month? I have already set up a automatic deposit into my bank account when money is supposed to be paid. after I did my taxes, i saw that the SS office has already received my yearly tax info for 2017
I make 12.00 an hour now but i don't know if i will be getting a raise any time this year and if i do, do i need to report that also?
Thank you for your help.

Am I Missing Something?

Sorry that this is going to be complicated! :) My husband was a fairly new immigrant when he had a devastating accident (hit by another driver, with not enough insurance or wherewithal to help my husband) with major life-changing injuries (lost a leg to the hip, shattered his pelvis, his foot, an arm, his coccyx, his sternum, internal bleeding, etc. although luckily no brain injury or paralysis). He was a green card holder but had only 13 credits at the time and so could not get SSDI.

How Do I Track What My Age 70 Benefit Will Be?

I have filed a restricted application for spousal benefits and it has been approved, however at My Social Security, the amount I would receive at age 70 is no longer available, instead it states that "you are receiving benefits". How do I now track what my age 70 benefit will be?

Thanks!

Hi,

You could use our software, or you could try calling or visiting a Social Security office.

Best, Jerry

Hi,

I'm sorry but I can't really give you a good answer without more information. I'm guessing that the money Social Security is taking out of your monthly payments is your Medicare premiums. Unless you also have Medicaid and your state is paying your Part B premiums, then the withholding is likely correct.

Can I Claim U.S. Social Security Benefits While Living In The U.K.?

I am a UK citizen with Green Card (resident alien status) who has worked in the US for 20 years in local government. My wife is a US citizen. Eventually we would like to return to the UK and I realize this may cause my US status to change to non-resident alien. Will I be eligible to claim US social security at 66 while living in the UK? Thank you.

How Does The New Law Affect Me And My Husband?

I started collecting SS benefits at 66, but I am and will continue to work till I am 70 or next year 2019 (God willing enjoying health). My husband is already collecting SS (he is 73 ). How does this new law benefits me or us? Should I be collecting SS benefits from my husband's account too? or is it by law the claim of SS benefits (of spouses) upon the death of either or one ?

How Much Could My Children And I Receive?

My husband is in Federal jail. I have 3 children at age 12 , 13 and 16. I am a stay at home mom. My husband turned to 65 in Jan 2017. Now it is 2018 and I just found out my children and I can apply for my husband's social security benefit . We lost our health insurance and everything after my husband went to jail. Right now we have medical assistance. My question is if I and my 3 children apply for my husband's social security benefit, will we lose medical assistance ? Is that worth it to do it?
