Would Social Security Deduct My Part B Medicare Premiums From My Civil Service Check?

When you apply for Medicare A and B at age 65 and do not currently get a SSA benefit, does the SSA deduct the part B Medicare premium from your OPM check if you get retirement benefits from federal employment? Is this automatic, or do I have to instruct them to deduct the Medicare premiums monthly from OPM retirement?

Can My Husband Delay Filing For Medicare If He Has Health Insurance Through My Employment?

I will be 65 in October and am working full time. My husband retired at the end of December 2017 and will be 66 in April 2019. He wants to hold off on Social Security until age 66 possibly longer. He transitioned to my work health insurance prior to ending his work health insurance in December. My health insurance covers over 25,000 employees.

What Can I Do To Correct My Part B Enrollment Month?

I had to change my start date for Social Security twice: once so it would match my retirement date, the second time ( a day later) because my employer offered an early retirement incentive of $40K, for which I was eligible, if I delayed retirement for one month - (til Sept. 1st. 2018).
I made it clear to the rep that my retirement and Medicare B start months must be the same due to continued health coverage from my employer in retirement, in this case September,

When I got home I saw that she noted Oct. pay date is for SEPTEMBER benefits which is correct.

Should I Sign Up For Medicare Parts A, B & D When I File For Spousal Benefits?

My wife retired 4 years ago at age 66. I intend to continue working for a large (> 500 employees) company until age 70 and am turning 66 next month. I will file for spousal benefits at that time. By the way thanks for that.
My question should I sign up for Medicare parts a b and d when I file for spousal benefits?

Should My Sister Have Received A Larger Medicare Premium Refund?

On Nov 16, 2017, My sister, age 70, paid her Medicare premium 3 months in advance for Dec, Jan & Feb 2018. Her birthday is in Dec which is when she signed up for Social Security, i.e., December 2017. Her first SS check was received in January 2018. She understands that the first check is actually for Dec 2017 even though it's received a month later. If this is correct then she should have received a refund of the Medicare premiums she paid for all 3 months,Dec,Jan,Feb because the Medicare premium was deducted from her SS benefit beginning with the first check.
