Would SSI, SSDI Or Medicare Pay For My Daughter To Visit Me?

Does SSI, SSDI, or medicare help pay for my adult disabled daughter, living in a group home in New York, to fly Florida with an Aide, to visit me in Florida for a week?

Hi,

SSI (Supplemental Security Income) and SSDI (Social Security disability) only pay an established monthly benefit amount, and no additional amounts are ever added to cover specific expenditures. I'm not an expert on Medicare coverage, but what you are describing doesn't sound like anything that Medicare would pay for (https://www.medicare.gov/pubs/pdf/10050-Medicare-and-You.pdf).

Best, Jerry
