Why Does Social Security Approve You For Survival Retirement Medicare?

I asked a question Why does Social Security approve you for survival retirement Medicare benefits I do believe the doctor filled out the documents the condition was hereditary genetic and when you try to find out why are you receiving the retirement survivor Medicare but not the cash benefits does a person have to be married to receive survival retirement a person also did you receive benefits is disease

Hi. I'm sorry, but I don't really understand your question. It is possible to qualify for Medicare benefits either based on your own earnings history, or on the earnings record of a parent, spouse or deceased spouse. Social Security pays cash benefits to people who qualify for retirement or disability benefits based on their own earnings history, and they also pay spousal benefits, child benefits, disabled adult child's benefits, widow(er) and disabled widow(er) benefits, and divorced spousal and survivor benefits. People who qualify for any of those benefits can qualify for Medicare at age 65, or earlier if they receive a benefit based on disability.

You must be unmarried to get survivor benefits based on a parent's Social Security record, but to get survivor benefits as a widow or divorced spouse you would need to have been married. Retirement or disability benefits based on a person's own earnings history can be paid regardless on a person's marital status. Unfortunately, though, there isn't enough information in your question for me to be able to give you any specific advice.

Best, Jerry
