What Will Happen When I Reach Full Retirement Age?

Hi Larry, I was born in 1960 and applied for SSDI in July 2017 and was approved in early 2018. When I reach full retirement age 67 will may social security retirement benefits increase or remain the same amount as I receive for SSDI? Thank you for your time in advance regarding this subject.

Hi,

When you reach your full retirement age your Social Security disability benefits (SSDI) will convert to regular retirement benefits at the same rate.

Best, Jerry
