What Can I Do?

i took a early retirement because i needed the money to make ends meet my husband is disable and gets benfits so i get some from his not much and not much from mine then i have insurance through them which takes out 139.00 a m0nth then 30.00 a month for over payment its really getting hard for me to work but i dont know what to do.

Hi,

I wish I had an answer for you, but Social Security is my only area of expertise and it sounds as though you're already drawing all of the Social Security benefits for which you're eligible. I can't be certain of that without more information, but if you're getting a combined benefit based on your own record plus spousal benefits from your husband, it's unlikely that you'd qualify for any other types of Social Security benefits. Depending on how much you have in the way of income and resources, you may want to check with the Department of Social Services in your area to see if they have any suggestions for you.

Best, Jerry
