What Benefits Can I Get At Age 70?

so if i want to retire at 57 what kind of benefits.or help with health insurance i can get

Hi,

Social Security is my only area of expertise, so those are the only benefits I can address. The only way that you could qualify for Social Security benefits based on your own work record prior to age 62 is if you qualify for Social Security disability (SSDI) benefits. If you've been continuously disabled since prior to age 22, it's possible that you could qualify for disabled adult child's benefits on a parent's record. Or, if you're disabled and widowed or had an ex-spouse that you were married to for at least 10 years who is now deceased, you could potentially qualify for disabled survivor benefits. Or, if you have a child in your care who is under age 16 or disabled, you might be able to qualify for child in care spousal or survivor benefits based on the record of a spouse or ex-spouse who is deceased or drawing their Social Security benefits.
