If I Resign From My Job Will I Have To Report It To The Railroad Retirement Board?

I have been receiving my husband's social security benefit since 2013 while I am still working. If I resign from the job I am currently serving on will I have to report this information to the Railroad Retirement Board?

Hi. I'm sorry, but there isn't nearly enough information in your question for me to be able to give you a meaningful answer. You say you are receiving your husband's Social Security, so I assume that means you're collecting either Social Security spousal or survivor benefits. I have no idea how the Railroad Retirement Board might be involved based on what you've stated.

Best, Jerry
