No, you can't collect both Social Security retirement benefits and Social Security disability (SSDI) benefits at the same time. Drawing SSDI benefits is essentially the same as receiving your full retirement age (FRA) Social Security benefit early because you're disabled.

SSDI benefits automatically convert to unreduced Social Security retirement benefits when a person reaches FRA. If you elect to switch to drawing retirement benefits before FRA, your SSDI benefits would stop being paid and you'd receive a lower monthly benefit rate that's reduced for age. That would never be advantageous unless a person's SSDI benefits were being offset due to the receipt of workers compensation or public disability benefits, or if they have eligible family members who could receive higher auxiliary benefit rates if the worker was drawing retirement benefits instead of SSDI.
