How Much Can I Work And Collect Social Security?

i'd like to work pt and collect social. what is the ratio permitted?. Is it fiscally practical.? I'm 68 with medicare a and b.
i want to get the Medicare gap coverage.

Hi. Since you are over full retirement age (FRA), there's no limit on the amount that you are allowed to earn and still collect Social Security benefits. Working wouldn't have any adverse effect on your Medicare coverage, either, although the premium rates for Part B of Medicare can vary depending on how much income you have (https://www.medicare.gov/your-medicare-costs/part-b-costs).

Medicare gap coverage is offered by private insurance companies, not Social Security. For more information on Medicare gap coverage, refer to Medicare's website: https://www.medicare.gov/supplements-other-insurance/whats-medicare-supp....

Best, Jerry
