How Do I Go About Switching My Widow's Benefits To Retirement Benefits For My Husband?

I am drawing Widows benefits & I'm disabled, my husband was disabled as well He will be turning 62 in January, how do I go about switching my Widows benefits to retirement benefits for him?

Hi. I'm not sure that I understand your situation. If you're collecting widow's benefits on the record of a former spouse and if you subsequently remarried, you could potentially apply for benefits as a spouse on your current husband's account. Whether or not that would be advisable depends on many variables that aren't mentioned in your question. I would suggest contacting Social Security to discuss your options with them, since they would have access to all of the necessary to explain your options.

Best, Jerry
