My good friend who has cancer lost his benefits during the Obama Insurance mandate because he did not have insurance. Now that the mandate has been removed how does he get his benefits restored? Thank you

Hi. I'm sorry, but I don't understand your friend's situation. A person couldn't lose their Social Security benefits for failing to have insurance, so if your friend's Social Security benefits were stopped then it would have to have been due to some other reason. And, without knowing that reason, I can't give you any advice. I would suggest that your friend call Social Security so they can look up his records and let him know what he'd need to do to get his benefits reinstated.
