Does receiving social security benefits affect SNAP benefits
Hi. My area of expertise is limited to Social Security benefits. I have no special knowledge of the SNAP benefit program, but since the the SNAP program is needs based I assume that Social Security income is counted when determining if a person is eligible for SNAP benefits (https://www.fns.usda.gov/snap/eligibility/elderly-disabled-special-rules#What%20are%20the%20SNAP%20income%20limits?).
