Do You Have Any Suggestions For Me?

Hi larry, i bought the max SS program...went online to social security and bam!
it refused my basic info...said i had to contact them...so after an hour
i got someone who said did you freeze equifax, transunion and experian ..i said yes...
so i went back and unfroze them..no easy feat...experian menu is broken...it goes in a loop and transunion someone from outside and i had to repeat myself 3 times..etc...so after $10+
i got all threef frozen credit unions temporarily lifted - called back...asked for appt on menu..an hour later get a guy called harry who said i have to call back the unions cuz their info is not matching mine??? how is that even possible..only i would have to write in the request....its ridiculous..no one is really there! and if they were..would they give me my profile over the phone?
SUGGESTIONS? DEBRA

Hi,

I can't tell you for certain why you were unable to file for Social Security online, but it likely had nothing to do with the data leaks in the cases mentioned by the person you spoke with at Social Security. I can't imagine what difference your status with the credit services would make since those services are unrelated to your Social Security account, nor does Social Security contact any of those companies as part of their claims process.

If possible, and if you are unable to make an appointment by phone, I would suggest simply walking into your nearest Social Security office in order to discuss your case and/or file a claim.

Best, Jerry
