Can I Receive Social Security Retirement And Workers Compensation Benefits At The Same Time?

I'll be 66 this year and I'm on workers comp benefits can I receive social security retirement benefits and workers comp benefits at the same time

Hi,

My only area of expertise is Social Security benefits, so all I can tell you for sure is that if you receive workers compensation benefits it would have no adverse effect on your Social Security retirement benefits. I don't know whether or not receipt of Social Security retirement benefits might have any effect on your workers compensation benefits. Workers compensation laws vary by state, so you may want to check with the agency responsible for payment of your workers comp benefits.

Best, Jerry
