Can I Do Anything?

My husband passed before he collected short of 3months I was given the wrong information that I should collect at 60 instead of 62. Because it was going to be a difference of 200.00 if I waited till I was 62 I would have received 600.00 more can I do anything?

Hi,

I don't have the full facts of your case, but it sounds like it may be possible for you to withdraw your original application and reapply with a later entitlement date. However, that would likely require you to refund most or all of the benefits that you have already received. As I say, though, I don't have enough information about the facts of your case to actually give you advice on the best strategy.

Best, Jerry
