Can I Still Get Spousal Benefits If I'm Collecting Benefits On A Deceased Spouse?

I am getting Disability ,I am 62.Can I still ask for spousal benefits even though I am collecting against my deceased spouse's earnings?

Hi,

I assume you mean that you are receiving disabled widow's benefits and have remarried? If so, you could potentially receive additional spousal benefits from your current spouse's record, but only if he or she is drawing their benefits and half of their full retirement age rate (PIA) exceeds the amount that you currently receiving. And, if you start drawing spousal benefits prior to your full retirement age your benefit rate will be reduced for age.
