Can I Request An Administrative Law Judge Hearing?

Trying get my ss check back to it's original schedule of third week of the month(birthdate July 16th) his was Oct 28th) , was changed to the 3rd of each month without my knowledge when ex-husband became an auxiliary beneficiary (deceased as Dec. 2020) . Have written two reconsideration appeals both denied, can I request an Administrative Law judge hearing , if so which form should I use? Thanks in advance for any information related to this issue

Hi. Yes, you can file for a hearing, but you normally must do so within 60 days of the date of your reconsideration determination unless you have good cause for late filing. The form to use to request a hearing is an HA-501. You can find more information and a link to the form on the following Social Security website: https://www.ssa.gov/forms/ha-501.html.

Best, Jerry
