Is There Any Benefit To Your Software If I'm Already Collecting My Benefits?

I heard you on a radio program. I wish I heard you before filing :) I am 66 and my wife is 55. I have been collecting SS since reaching 64. So my question is is there any benefit to your software after I have been collecting already?

Potentially, yes. For example, you may want to consider suspending your benefits so that you could grow your monthly benefit rate by 8% per year until age 70. That would not only provide you with a higher monthly benefit rate for life, it could also potentially provide your wife with a higher widow's rate for life should you die before her.
