Firstly, both of my parents have passed; one 12 years ago and the other 11 years ago. I am wondering if I can collect survivor benefits and do I need to be 60 yrs old to do so?

Hi. I'm sorry for your loss. The only way that you could collect survivor benefits from your parents' Social Security accounts is if you qualify for child or disabled adult child (DAC) benefits.
