Can I Suspend My Benefits At 69+ And Restart Them At Age 70?

Can I suspend my benefits at 69 + 8 months and restart it at 70 in May 7, 2017.

Hi,

You can suspend your benefits, but the earliest you can do it is the month after the month of your request. So, you only have a couple days left to suspend benefits starting with February 2017.

Best, Jerry
